Quarantine Days of COVID-19

Day 11 (04-04-2020)

Too close is Blur

If you go with the title of today's blog, some of you would have already assumed what I'm going to write about. Well, every individual will have a different assumption or interpretation of the title. It can be about things that are too close to your eyes thus they're blurred. Rightly so, the case is like that and the things that are too close to the eyes are blurred and non-recognizable. Humans go on thinking that of its close to them, it's better. But that's not the case always.

Here, I want to get your attention towards; not the things being close and blurred but the Situations and the Humans. The people who are too close to you, aren't pretty well visible to you. Many a times, the proper distance, which isn't maintained, halts the beauty of that person in your eyes. You tend to think that they're there with you and you're always looking for someone who will understand you and hop around with you in the good and bad. Mark your vision, firm the distance and relocate the sight to find the people you've been looking for, from the people you've been surrounded by, Always.

Now, coming to the situations that are too close thus blurred. The situations, that happen in your daily life or sometimes occasionally, aren't always the same that you see. Let's say, there's a college election to select the student union's president. They've counted the votes and by far it's a tie. It's your turn to vote and select the president. Now, you've voted for the person, who you think is good as he/she is too close to you. Down the lane, he/she does all wrong doings and bad stuff. He/she was always doing bad only but being too close to you it was always blur to your eyes. By this incident, the sight was clear and you saw the situation, picture perfect.

In both the contexts, we the Humans lack the confidence of putting People and Situations, at bay. The perfect vision to the eye takes time. So, if you make mistakes in finding the clear vision to any situation or human, don't worry. The experience will help you in becoming a master at it, going into far future. By helping yourself, you'll help many others too. It'll help you, get hold of the things that you've been neglecting from such a long time. At the same time, it'll help you in gaining a better hold of people and situations, you've been avoiding.

And sometimes, it's not them, it's us. It's us, who have to clear ourselves, our sight and our vision to get a better hold of them. We also have to do this practice to find the better of our own self. Yes, we don't know ourselves that good till date so by this, we can have a better vision of our own self. Looking at our own self in a new way, in a new avatar and a new personality, all together. I'll end today's blog with a saying of the famous mystic poet, Moulana Rumi (r.a.) and I quote, "Yesterday I was clever, so I was changing the world. Today I am wise, so I'm changing myself".

Till then Bon Voyage guys, Sayonara!!

P. S. Today's positive is that we have to find the good in ourselves. The bad in ourselves. The perfect in ourselves. And once this is done, we will stop finding anything else in anyone else. One can be the world him/herself rather than finding it in someone else, who isn't even aware of what you're looking for. So, let's pledge to be our own world and make it a perfect one after we've found the good and the bad in it.
