Quarantine Days of COVID-19

Day 24 (17-04-2020)

Be a Poem

After a suitable cause of you being alive, you'll find the synchronization of fitting yourself to where you belong. This cause helps you grow accordingly and makes you be the one, you're. And when you try to find yourself and look out for a metaphor of who you're, you get confused. This happens because you find one characteristic in a particular thing and something else in another. You're stuck in choosing which one to confirm as your metaphor and life by then is done with you. It is very hard to find so but at the same time it's very important too to quickly do so, for you relate to it and make yourself easy to get along with things.

Well, I've an answer to your question. The answer is I've found a metaphor of my life. And I guess this metaphor can be everyone else's metaphor without any question. The metaphor is 'POEM'. Yes, find yourself as a poem. A poem, full of rhythms. A poem, musically grooming. A poem, explaining you in lyrics. A poem, keeping you open as a free verse. A poem is an answer to your every single question and a poem describes you as nothing else can. It can as easy as reading and understanding it to as tough as the readers, who will have a say of their own.

The good part of being a poem is the readers will judge you and have a say according to their own understanding. The same thing happens in life, people understand you not the way you want but as they've understood and read you.

Being a poem makes you be restless towards stopping at one, you want more out of it. You write its parts, squeals and prequels. Not only that, whatever you forget to mention, you can recall that in post script as well. Thus a poem sums up it all, a poem sums up you as once in for all. I've been writing poems from past 7 odd years and I've come a long way. Though I haven't published anything at a big scale and I intend not for, only for now. The poems in a very unique and minimalist way portray and explain me and humans.

The poems forgo things which aren't required and keeps it precise and all open readers to give it a thought and take it on their own way. By this, many have found themselves in those poems and have even told me that how come I can write with such ease about them even when I rarely know them. The answer is simple, I, write about me and the life around, you'll find yourself in the same. Afterall, we are humans and we are full of chaos. And forget not, a poem is till eternity, never-ending.

If you all want to give a read to some of my poems then you can check them out on my Instagram profile at @khanshahidsalam or @dihahswrites

Till then Bon Voyage guys, Sayonara!!

P.S. Today's positive is that finding a metaphor in your life lets you find yourself pretty well to live a bundled life. A life, which isn't shown as same to everyone but a different picture to every single. Find your metaphor and give life a better chance of being lived.
