Today I've learnt a big lesson, a lesson for life. I don't know how to put today's incident in words but I'll try to do justice to it somehow.
The time was round about 2:30 at noon and I was shooting for my documentary with my cameraman (Rahul), translator (Raksha & Rubin) and then the lead lady of my documentary started talking about her life in Kannada (the language which I knew nothing about) and I had no idea what she was talking but as she went on and the facial expressions of her made a drastic change which went from smiling to a tornado like hit place.
I couldn't even blink my eyes even once (for a moment i was literary into tears) and was continuously gazing at her as she was going on talking about her life. And the best part of it was that she didn't regretted about her life at all but rather she took it positively and did all her work with full honesty and dedication. Here I remembered our late ex President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Azad who said, " Love your job not your company because the company can throw you out anytime".
She's a maid in my college but the lesson she taught me was much more than my teachers are doing right now. The flow of emotions from her face was the turning point which made me realize that language is never a barrier if people read the emotions of the other person and then let everything go above your head but the real message will reach deep inside your heart.
I dedicate this blog to you "LAKSHMI AMAA", whom I always wave a HI with a smile and the smile she hands me back makes my day and it clicks my mind making me think that even though we both don't understand each others language, the bond between both of us is ceaseless because of the emotions that we exchange.
